People who work and live in a limited space or study and rest at the same time find it hard to find psychological stability. This is psychological anxiety caused by the coexistence of two opposing situations in one space. When studying or working, rigid and formal, comfortable and casual in the same space as when resting and living, conflicting frames cause conflicts in the space. In this situation, the floor frame lamp changes the mood of the space through light and physically divides the space through the fabric material in the center of the lamp. Users can find psychological stability by defining the conflicting frame in a different mood by changing the mood of the space rather than just physically separating the space.

한정된 공간에서 일을 하고 생활하거나 공부와 휴식을 동시에 취하는 사람들은 심리적 안정을 찾기가 힘들다. 이는 대립하는 두 프레임(인식)이 한 공간에 공존하면서 생기는 심리적 불안감때문이다. 공부나 일을 할 때 딱딱하고 격식을 차리는 반면 휴식과 생활은 편안하고 캐주얼하게 지내게 됨으로 대립되는 프레임(인식)은 심리적 불안함을 유발하게 된다. 대조되는 두개의 프레임은 같은 공간에 존재하며 갈등을 일으킨다. 이런 상황에서 Floor frame lamp는 빛을 통해 공간의 분위기를 바꾸고 램프 중앙의 패브릭 소재를 통해 물리적으로 공간을 나누는 역할을 한다. 사용자는 단순히 공간을 분리하는 것이 아니라 공간의 분위기를 바꿔 상충하는 프레임을 다른 분위기로 정의함으로써 심리적 안정을 찾을 수 있다.

The overall shape wanted to give meaning to the function of the lamp and the conventional appearance of the partition. It's a lamp, but it gives meaning to the typical partition shape, so psychological anxiety sends a message that if you break the frame (biased), two opposing frames (cognition) can coexist.
